Accessibility Statement
Updated: 6 days ago
Last updated: 7 August 2026
The Wellness Method is committed to making wellnessmethod.co.uk usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse. We want the site to be straightforward to read, navigate and buy from, whether you use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnification, or no assistive technology at all.
How we are working towards this
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are working towards that standard rather than claiming full conformance, because we would rather tell you honestly where we are than overstate it. In practice we are focused on:
Text that can be resized without loss of content or function
Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
Keyboard access to navigation, forms and checkout
Clear, plain language, particularly in ingredient, allergen and safety information
Known limitations
Parts of this site rely on third-party tools, including our website platform, checkout and embedded social feeds, where we do not control every element of the underlying code. Some of these may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Where we identify an issue we cannot fix directly, we will raise it with the provider and look for a workaround in the meantime.
This statement has not yet been supported by a formal third-party accessibility audit. We will update it when one has been carried out.
If something is not working for you
Please tell us. If you have difficulty using any part of this site, or you need information in a different format (larger print, plain text, or read aloud over the phone or by email), contact us at hello@wellnessmethod.co.uk and tell us what you were trying to do and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 2 working days.
If you cannot complete an order because of an accessibility barrier, email us and we will take your order directly.
Enforcement
We have duties under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled customers. If you contact us about an accessibility problem and you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
