The endocannabinoid system, explained for non-scientists

The endocannabinoid system — the ECS — is the body's internal signalling network involved in everyday physiological balance.

It has three parts: messenger molecules the body produces itself, receptors (called CB1 and CB2) found on cells across the brain, immune system and gut, and enzymes that clear the messengers when their job is done.

CBD is one of many compounds researchers have studied in the context of the ECS. CBD is not THC and is not intoxicating.

The published research on CBD and the ECS is ongoing, and we make no claim that our products produce any specific effect on you.
