The HPA axis and your cortisol curve

Cortisol is one of the body's stress hormones, and it follows a daily rhythm — typically higher in the morning, lower at night.


The system that regulates this rhythm is called the HPA axis. Modern life is widely understood to keep this system more active than it was designed for.


There is published research exploring how the endocannabinoid system interacts with the HPA axis, and how cannabinoids may sit within that broader picture. The research is ongoing, and we make no claim that our products produce any specific effect on cortisol, hormones, or stress.
